Brand new Raikou Legendary Arena launches in Pokémon Masters EX

Pokémon Masters EX's Legendary Arena is expanding this week, with the addition of a brand new battle area, focused on Raikou. In the Legendary Arena, trainers must complete a set of challenges using up to 30 sync pairs. Originally only available as time-limited events, the Arena was opened permanently following the September 2022 update, allowing players to challenge these battles whenever they like. Raikou is the thirteenth Pokémon to be added to the Legendary Arena.

Raikou fighting using a variety of field effects for both offense and defence, including Rainy Weather, and both Physical Damage Reduction and Special Damage Reduction. If that wasn't challenging enough, Raikou is accompanied by Ampharos and Electrode, who can boost their team's Speed as well as having Passive Skills to raise the damage output of their Moves and Sync Move when their speed has been buffed. From its 2nd HP Bar onward, Raikou also gains this Passive Skill. A combination of debuffing moves and field effects will therefore be essential for Trainers to claim victory!

To challenge the Legendary Arena, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 2: Defeat Team Break! (Normal) in single-player.
