Drasna & Dragalge make their Pokémon Masters EX debut, alongside launch of new Fire- and Psychic-type Egg Event

Drasna, the Dragon-type Trainer and member of the Kalos Elite Four, is making their Pokémon Masters EX debut today in a sync pair together with their partner Dragalge. Also launching today is a new Egg Event focused on Fire- and Psychic-type Pokémon.

Drasna Spotlight Scouts
Drasna & Dragalge make their debut in the Drasna Spotlight Scout. Olympia is the third member of the Kalos Elite Four to be added to Pokémon Masters EX as a playable character. The remaining member, Malva, has to date only appeared in the game as an NPC during the Villain Arc.

Drasna & Dragalge are a 5★ Dragon-type Tech sync pair with an expanded sync grid, and the ability to be raised to 6★ EX. Raising the pair to 6★ EX changes Drasna's outfit to a palette matching her partner Dragalge. The pair focuses on repeatedly using supereffective attacks, with their Super Freebie 9 Passive Skill applying the Free Move Next effect to the pair any time they use a super effective move, and their Superduper Effective 5 passive skill powering up any supereffective moves. They can inflict further damage through Toxic, which leaves opponents badly poisoned, and further powers up their Infinite Smile Dragon Pulse sync move.

In addition to the regular Spotlight Scout, Trainers can also take advantage of an Drasna Spotlight Scout + Present! Limit 3!, a special Sync Pair Scout requiring paid gems, that, as the name implies, can be used up to 3 times. Players will receive a 50% discount on their first Sync Pair Scout x11 for this special Spotlight Scout, making it 1,500 Gems rather than the usual 3,000. As an added bonus, players will also receive bonus items every time they do a Sync Pair Scout x11 for this special Spotlight Scout. The bonuses that are received are as follows.

The 5★ Master Scout Ticket J allows Trainers to use the Drasna Guarenteed Ticket Scout, ensuring they scout Drasna & Dragalge.

Both the Drasna Spotlight Scout and Drasna Spotlight Scout + Present! Limit 3! will be available until August 27th, at 10:59pm (PDT). The associated Ticket Scout will be available until September 3rd, at 10:59pm (PDT).

Fire- & Psychic-type Egg Event
In this event, players will be able to receive Eggs from Professor Bellis that will hatch into one of a selection of Fire-, and Psychic-type Pokémon. The Pokémon that can hatch from these events include Ponyta, Slowpoke, Vulpix, Magby, and Abra, with the first three of these having the possibility of being Shiny. This event is available in-game now, and will continue through to August 20th, at 10:59pm (PDT). During this time, players will only receive eggs by completing missions from this Egg event and will not receive Eggs for completing other areas.

One limited-time incubator will also be added to Bellis's Lab for the duration of this event. If an Egg is still in the limited-time incubator when the event ends, the limited-time incubator will remain active until that Egg hatches. This incubator will assist Players in unlocking rewards from event missions to hatch certain numbers of eggs.

As usual for events of this type, several special missions will be available during the event period. Players will have an increased chance of receiving Eggs if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs are placed in the lineup, the higher the Egg reward rate will be. The applicable Sync Pairs and Egg reward rates are as follows:

• Fire- and Psychic-type Main Character sync pairs: +80% (×1.8) Egg Reward Rate
• Main Character sync pairs: +40% (×1.4) Egg Reward Rate
• Other Fire- and Psychic-type sync pairs: +20% Egg Reward Rate (×1.2)

These bonuses stack additively, so having a one Main Character Fire- and Psychic-type sync pair, and two Fire- and Psychic- sync pairs would give a combined bonus of 120% (x2.2)

Players should also note the following when playing this event:

• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• Players cannot receive Eggs from Professor Bellis by completing areas outside of this event during this event period.

Champion Stadium: Johto Challenge
Until September 3rd, at 10:59pm (PDT), the Champion Stadium is rotating around to Johto, giving Trainers the opportunity to challenge the Indigo Plateau Elite Four members from Generations II and IV - Will, Koga, Bruno, and Karen, as well as Champion Lance.

Successful Trainers will gain access to Master Mode, which allows players to face more challenging battles against the Elite Four, an in-game badge that signifies their accomplishment, and other special reward items including Champion Spirit, which can be used to raise sync pairs up to 6★ EX.

To participate in the Champion Stadium, Trainers must have completed Main Story Chapter 10: A Reason to Battle (Normal) in single-player. To attempt the Johto Challenge, players must also have completed the Kanto Challenge on Normal difficulty. The Normal difficulty of the Kanto Challenge is always available, regardless of the current regional rotation of the Champion Stadium.
